Client Relationship Manager


Department and team: UK Wholesale Sales, Distribution


Role reports to: UK Sales & Support Director


Purpose


To support the Regional Sales Directors in UK Wholesale Sales by providing predominantly office-based, technical support to clients helping to retain existing business and generate future sales.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. First point of office-based contact for technical and operational queries from clients, responding by email or phone accordingly.
  2. Manage regular schedule of updates to clients on the core funds, from bespoke pieces through to standardised monthly updates.
  3. Occasional hosting of client meetings in Fenchurch Avenue or at clients' offices.
  4. Support internal training / knowledge transfer across the wider M&G Prudential group.
  5. Manage follow-ups to events that we host or present at with a view to gaining feedback or potential business leads for the team to convert.
  6. Production of MI for team and wider business use on account holdings and trade analysis.
  7. Production of invitations to clients and assistance with curation and delivery of regional roadshows.
  8. Ad hoc support for Regional Sales Directors responding to short notice requests for fund information, commentary and client information.
  9. Working closely with Marketing to help shape UK Wholesale campaign materials.
  10. Manage own panel of clients, as agreed with Regional Sales Directors in line with regional business plan.

Experience Required


  1. We are looking for you to have Asset Management experience, strong investment knowledge and to have ideally completed an industry qualification e.g. IMC (Investment Management Certificate).
  2. For this role, you need the ability to understand and articulate complex investment messages in a digestible form. Strong presentation skills are important and experience of presenting to larger audiences will be advantageous.
  3. Experience of sales and servicing of clients within the Asset Management industry would be advantageous.
  4. In addition to proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, it is important for you to be flexible on your broader skills for example, Administration, Operations, Client Facing and Telephone.
