As a global investor, we are present where our clients most need us - from Hong Kong and Singapore, to Chicago and major European financial hubs.

Created by combining our investment management (LGIM) and asset origination (LGC) capabilities, our Asset Management division works with our Institutional Retirement and Retail divisions to benefit our clients and customers - which include individual savers, pension scheme members and global institutions - and deliver enhanced shareholder returns.

Joining us means becoming part of a market-leading team, with capabilities across the full spectrum of asset classes, with an enduring commitment to responsible investment and creating long-term, sustainable value for our clients and partners.

Job Description

We're recruiting for a Client Relationship Executive to join our Strategic Client team, providing efficient and effective relationship and sales support service to one or more Client Relationship Manager's and their portfolio of clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining an exceptional level of relationship and sales support to clients on behalf of Client Directors, acting as the first port of call for a client in the Client Director's absence.
  • Owning and co-ordinating the successful resolution of client enquiries, liaising and utilising expertise from around the business. Seeking guidance from Client Managers and Client Directors where necessary.
  • Providing high level technical support, demonstrating an understanding of a client's decision making process and long term objectives. Being able to answer complex queries as well as identify business opportunities and threats.
  • Identifying and following up on leads and sales opportunities with the aim of maximising revenue.
  • Attending meetings and conference calls where required and take sole responsibility for audit and operational meetings when opportunities arise. Preparing meeting packs for client meetings and new business pitches.
  • Developing a high level of technical knowledge in areas such as LGIM products, brand, services and competitors in the market. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the current investment market, economic issues and LGIM's views, enabling you to discuss solutions with clients and consultants.
  • Seeking expert input from around the business to project manage ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change, through to completion in line with client expectations.
  • Overseeing and assisting with the production of legal documentation, reports and client-specific data relevant to each client's investment strategy.
Qualifications

Who we're looking for:
  • Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and sales support.
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing with external clients and building significant relationships with external contacts up to and including senior levels, ideally within the pensions industry.
  • Institutional client experience.
  • Strong overall Investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options.
  • IMC qualified or willing to work towards.
  • Excellent communication and team orientated.
Benefits

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes.
  • Generous pension contribution.
  • Life assurance.
  • Private medical insurance (permanent employees only).
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years' service. There's also the option to buy and sell holiday.
  • Competitive family leave.
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice.
  • There are the many discounts we offer - both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online.
  • In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart.
