The Role
Reporting to the Global Associate Director of Sales & Client Development, we are seeking a strategic, client-centric Client Relations & Virtual Sales Manager – Team Lead & VIC to elevate Safiyaa’s customer journey and drive virtual and omnichannel sales performance.
Based in our London showroom, this pivotal role owns the global virtual sales budget and individual target allocation, while leading a team of international virtual brand stylists. You will play a vital role in client retention and growth, in close collaboration with the CRM & Client Strategy Manager, ensuring personalized engagement across every touchpoint.
The ideal candidate is commercially astute, results-driven, and deeply experienced in luxury fashion, with a passion for virtual selling, exceptional clienteling, and building high-performing teams.
Our virtual sales team handles all inbound enquiries—via email, Instagram, WhatsApp, and phone—converting through digital styling tools or arranging showroom appointments in London and New York. The team also owns the ongoing relationship with all existing clients, ensuring retention and reactivation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Development
Drive virtual sales performance and nurture long-term relationships, consistently exceeding targets.
Review high-potential ecommerce orders and convert new clients into VICs.
Support showroom teams by driving in-person appointments for local clients in London and New York.
Proactively elevate client relationships through tailored outreach and expert styling guidance.
Strategic Growth & Leadership
Lead and motivate a geographically dispersed team of virtual stylists, ensuring alignment with brand values and sales goals.
Conduct performance reviews, coach for growth, and implement upskilling, upselling & cross-selling initiatives focused on conversion, client retention, and brand immersion.
Oversee client segmentation and targeted outreach strategy in partnership with CRM & Client Strategy team.
Train the team in company protocols, maintaining excellence across all touchpoints,
Client Experience & Operations
Maintain expert-level knowledge of Safiyaa collections—including fit, fabric, embroidery, and customisation options—to offer highly tailored recommendations.
Manage the end-to-end sales process with precision across platforms like Shopify and HubSpot, proactively ensuring the technological landscape and procedures are frequently reviewed and updated to ensure a seamless tech integration to provide a seamless client journey.
Participate in trunk shows, sales events, and client activations (international travel may be required).
Support the London showroom with physical appointments as needed.
Liaise closely with atelier teams and logistics for seamless order execution.
What We’re Looking For
Proven luxury sales expertise, ideally in womenswear or private shopping, with a strong track record in remote/distance selling.
Deep clienteling knowledge, with the ability to cultivate VICs and nurture loyalty.
Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal—with fluency in English.
Additional language skills are highly desirable—particularly Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, or Spanish—to engage our global clientele with cultural fluency.
Empathy and emotional intelligence, with a natural ability to understand client needs and provide bespoke experiences.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities, capable of inspiring high standards across remote teams.
Analytical mindset, with experience using client and sales data to drive action.
Tech fluency, including comfort with Shopify, HubSpot, and other CRM/sales tools.
Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
