Eden Scott's client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Onboarding & Operational Change Specialist to join their financial services team in Edinburgh on a 50-week temporary contract. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and operational excellence within financial services.
Responsibilities
Project manage new client onboarding processes and implementation of changes for existing clients.
Oversee case management, tracking change activity for each client to ensure smooth execution.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and external third parties, including custodians and transfer agents, to establish the right legal and operational frameworks supporting client transitions.
Build expertise in reporting change and guideline amendments, continuously refining processes through experience.
Assess and prioritise workloads effectively, considering volume, competing priorities, and required resources, time, and focus for each activity-understanding that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' approach.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements, mitigating risk while maintaining high-quality client service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding and change processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Person Specification
Proven experience in client onboarding, financial services operations, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and operational risk.
Sound knowledge of funds and investments.
Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Experience working with third-party providers (custodians, transfer agents) to facilitate operational and legal frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across different teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
