We’re working with a progressive and well-established Top 100 accountancy firm that’s looking to welcome an experienced practice accountant into their friendly and supportive team in Northampton.

The Role:

As a Client Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to a broad portfolio of clients. You'll work closely with both experienced colleagues and those still in training, supporting client delivery and internal development alike.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities
2. Monthly and quarterly management accounts
3. Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns
4. Building strong client relationships and beginning to manage your own portfolio
5. Planning and overseeing workflow across the team
6. Conducting client meetings and providing proactive advice to add value
7. Supporting the development and training of junior team members
8. Embracing and promoting new technology within the firm
9. Demonstrating commercial awareness and contributing to business performance.

About You:

1. ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
2. Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
3. Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
4. Confident communicator with a client-first approach
5. Comfortable using modern accounting software and embracing new technology
