Job description

Client Manager required. Due to recent growth, my client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Manager to join their team and help manage a portfolio of clients. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in the Wilmslow area, with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, providing a wide range of services to businesses and individuals alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist/support the Senior Client Manager in managing a portfolio of clients
  • Assist in managing the filing deadlines for year end accounts and corporation tax returns (CT600's)
  • Supervise a team of Senior Client Accountants and Client Accountants
  • Take lead with ongoing training of Client Accountants and any new starters
  • Prepare year end accounts, financial statements and tax computations for clients in your portfolio
  • Prepare periodic management accounts for your portfolio of clients
  • Prepare business and personal tax computations for client's owners for your portfolio of clients
  • Prepare self-assessments and personal tax computations and returns
  • Provide consultancy and financial management services - which includes preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and projections, budgeting, VAT returns, payroll etc
  • Review periodic bookkeeping and VAT returns produced for your portfolio of clients

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience working in a practice environment
  • Ideal candidate will be AAT or ACCA qualified/part-qualified
  • Excellent organisation skills, ensuring clients details are up to date at all times
  • Experience using IRIS Practice Suite/TaxCalc, Sage software and certain cloud-based accounting software's on behalf of your clients
