About Our Client

My client is an independent firm of accountants based in Altrincham. With a new office renovation and new members of the team, this firm is looking for the perfect Manager to join the accounts team.

Job Description

  1. Preparation and review of limited company statutory financial statements for Small and Medium sized companies.
  2. Produce disclosure notes to financial statements.
  3. Have an understanding of basic Corporation tax and deferred tax principles, along with basic tax planning understanding.
  4. Experience of training junior team members.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
  6. Other professional service roles demanded by a busy accountancy practice serving many different clients in various industry sectors.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Highly competent, with solid commercial awareness and several years' experience within general practice.
  2. ACCA, ACA, AAT exams or equivalent (or Qualified By Experience).
  3. Experience of producing SME accounts for a wide range of industries.
  4. Be able to use own initiative and be an "outside the box" thinker.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial.
  6. Committed and experienced.
