The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong background in business development within the recruitment industry, specifically in financial services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record of driving business growth.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within relevant markets such as financial and professional services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills:

  • Track record of winning cold business
  • Evidence of account management skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability in a continuously evolving and innovative environment.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B business development, ideally within the recruitment industry and financial services.
  • Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
