Work location: 3 days a week on site with our customer in Stevenage and 2 days at home. Geographical proximity for our priority customer is key.

Salary: Up to £100,000 + Bonus

The role and what you’ll be getting up to on a day-to-day basis:

As a Client Director for a Strategic Account, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and expanding our relationships with the customer. You will have the ability to be a trusted advisor to the CIO and Business Leaders in the Account.

Your focus will be on leading a large strategic account within the Littlefish Customer Portfolio, ensuring their success, satisfaction, and growth. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and order bookings while working closely with our delivery leads to ensure seamless execution of our services.

This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and an understanding of how technology can enable business outcomes. This is a transformational role, orchestrating both client and our internal teams, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed client expectations whilst driving business growth.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Account Management:
  • Lead a strategic account, managing the overall health and growth.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to maximize value to our customers and in turn revenue and profitability for Littlefish.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the account.
  • Revenue and Profitability:
    • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Manage account profitability, identifying areas for cost optimisation and efficiency.
    • Forecast and track bookings, ensuring accurate pipeline management.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Be the trusted advisor for both the CIO and Business Leaders in the Account.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer senior stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
    • Proactively address client concerns and manage escalations.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    • Work closely with delivery leads to ensure successful execution of services.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop a targeted account-based marketing strategy.
    • Liaise with solution teams to align our offerings with client needs.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop long-term account plans aligned with client business objectives.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the account.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance.
    • Analyse account data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide insights to senior management on account performance and strategies.

    What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

    • Proven experience in managing and growing large strategic accounts £5m-£20m revenue in the IT services or consulting industry.
    • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
    • Excellent relationship management skills with proven ability to engage at c-suite, e.g. CEO, CIO, FD, CPO, and become a trusted advisor.
    • An understanding, and experience, of how technology can enable business outcomes.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
