Role Overview: As a Client Director, your primary responsibility is to craft robust marketing strategies aligned with our clients' business needs. You'll be a seasoned professional, providing expert advice on strategy and marketing, collaborating closely with the Marketing Performance & Delivery Director to ensure client satisfaction and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies with agreed objectives, KPIs, and a 'Metric Map.'
Proactively recommend strategies to meet clients' marketing or business goals.
Regularly review campaigns to enhance results and profitability.
Support Client Leads/Partners and the broader marketing team in high-profile scenarios.
Facilitate client onboarding for immediate value realization.
Manage marketing strategies within budget and scope.
Stay abreast of emerging tools, software, industry news, and legislation impacting digital marketing channels.
Collaboratively devise marketing strategies with clients, understanding diverse stakeholder needs.
Host impactful internal and client-facing meetings with a clear agenda.
Desired Experience:
2+ years agency experience at the Account Director level or equivalent in-house experience.
Typical Weekly Allocation:
60%: Client strategy and direction
10%: Client Services Training, mentoring, and process refinement
20%: Pitches or renewals for existing clients and new business
10%: Self-development, training, and R&D initiatives
Performance Metrics:
80%+ NPS on assigned clients
50%+ individual billable utilization
70%+ operational profit on clients and projects.
