Client Accountant

A dynamic and vibrant accountancy firm is seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team in Wilmslow. This firm is dedicated to delivering a full range of services to their clients, including sole traders, contractors, and SMEs. Your new role
As Client Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide a professional service by developing and maintaining excellent relationships. You will be responsible for preparing and filing statutory accounts and tax returns in a timely manner. You will onboard new clients and build and maintain strong relationships with all clients, both new and existing. You will prepare and submit statutory filings such as company accounts, corporation tax returns, and Self-Assessment tax returns. You will also complete monthly payroll filings for clients and review the client's portal to ensure everything is entered correctly and kept up to date.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within practice. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA Part Qualified. You will need a good understanding of company taxes such as VAT, Corporation Tax, and PAYE. You will also need to have experience using accountancy software such as Xero. Additionally, you should have the ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines while delivering excellent client service.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
