The successful candidate will provide efficient, effective, and comprehensive administrative support for the department of Emergency Medicine/Acute Care Medicine.

Duties will include updating patient management systems, answering calls, greeting patients/relatives, preparing notes, and supporting the nursing team with all aspects of ward administration such as record keeping, data entry, filing, and scanning.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively with all staff members and patients.
This role covers 365 days over a 24-hour period on a rotational shift pattern and includes completing the administrative tasks that are aligned to provide effective care for patients on the Emergency and Acute pathway.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 286,700, providing inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full range of district general hospital services under one roof. The £170 million development was completed in 2010, and the continued upgrading of existing areas ensures the Trust now has a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and Integrated Assessment Unit facilities. Work is also completed on the Urgent and Emergency Care Centre which houses a new Emergency Department (including Children's Emergency Department), co-located Paediatric Assessment Unit, Acute Medical Unit, and Urgent Care Centre.
