Job description

Salary/Banding: £12.07- £13.68 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week

We are recruiting a new member of our team and want to hear from you if you:

  1. Have excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner
  2. Enjoy dealing with members of the public
  3. Are customer/patient focused and can communicate effectively and professionally, including in challenging situations
  4. Understand the need for confidentiality
  5. Have demonstrable experience of using computer packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  6. Are happy to work independently and have high standards.

In addition to the above, previous experience of working in a GP Practice with knowledge of medical terminology and of clinical IT systems including EMIS and Docman, would be an advantage, although not essential as training can be given.

Ideally, you will be educated to Higher level or equivalent.
