Job description

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Client Relationship Manager to work with one of our Private Practice clients in Hertfordshire.


What the job will be doing
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  2. Act as the primary liaison with the operations managers between the client and the company, addressing any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients to ensure all accommodation needs are met and to identify any areas for improvement.
  4. Work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs, offering additional services or accommodations as appropriate.
  5. Ensure seamless communication and coordination with internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery of accommodation services.
  6. Work with the operations team to troubleshoot any issues related to accommodation arrangements or service quality.
  7. Track client satisfaction metrics and feedback to inform future strategies.
  8. Looking after an established base of clients as well as growing levels of business year on year.
  9. Stay updated on trends and best practices within the insurance accommodation industry.
  10. Ensure that all services and solutions comply with industry regulations, insurance standards, and company policies.
  11. Attend exhibitions and meetings face to face when required to build rapport, present or carry out training. Networking should also take place on platforms such as LinkedIn.
  12. Address any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner, working to resolve conflicts and prevent escalation.
  13. Implement client-specific solutions while maintaining a high level of service and ensuring client satisfaction.
What you will need
  1. Recent account management experience or success within a business development or client relationship role; ability to build relationships and make a positive impact.
  2. A proven track record of account growth; managing your own portfolio of clients.
  3. Ability to speak with key contacts, gaining increased incoming business levels.
  4. Experience of driving an account management programme, working with senior management to increase market share.
  5. Excellent telephone manner and excellent written skills and proficiency in pulling together high level presentations.
  6. Drive and determination to succeed; a passion for sales and relationship-building.
  7. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
