Cleaning Supervisor – Manchester

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Cleaning Supervisor based in Manchester.

This is a temp to perm role based on working Monday to Friday 11am – 8pm, paying £13.00 per hour.

Job Specification:

1. Take responsibility for developing and maintaining the procedures, systems and resources necessary for delivering cleaning on site.
2. Manage the teams to ensure the contracted services are delivered to the agreed contract specification and standards.
3. Ensure a timely response to any service shortfalls identified.
4. Ensure a timely response to requests for additional or special cleans, agreeing customer requirements and costs if appropriate.
5. Review risk assessments and method statements and complete a limitation of access before work commences.
6. Support Facilities Manager at regular contract review meetings with service contractors and suppliers.
7. Ensure all statutory, health and safety and environmental licenses, certificates and documentation relevant to areas of responsibility are available on site for audit and review.
8. Comply with all statutory regulations and EFS instructions.
9. Ensure data is collated and monthly KPI reports are produced for presentation to the Facilities Manager.
10. Manage resources to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures including but not limited to recruitment, staff performance, training, development, and appraisals.
11. Interact with client staff during their working day and when conducting service audits.

Person Specification:

1. Essential supervisor experience.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Sound administrative experience.
4. Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Well organized with the ability to prioritize workloads.
