Cleaning Supervisor

BAM FM is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to join the team at Abbott Laboratories, Maidenhead.

Working 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday.

Your mission:

1. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with key performance indicators.
2. Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with health, safety and compliance guidelines, rules and procedures.
3. Ensure all cleaning tasks are actioned from the PDR device.
4. Manage any cleaning job cards that arise within the time frame allowed.
5. Ensure that staffing levels, including annual leave, are managed and report to the Facilities Manager for appropriate support.
6. Supervise all cleaning staff through daily personal communication and appropriate communication methods.
7. Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available in nominated cleaning stores and submit requests for replenishments in a timely manner.
8. Collate and submit cleaning staff timesheets and monthly absence reporting.
9. Carry out periodic performance auditing on your team and site.
10. Assist in training cleaning staff in the use of approved equipment and methodology following BICS standards.
11. Conduct regular TBT (tool box talks) in line with company requirements on a monthly basis.
12. Ensure all employees comply with their responsibilities as set out in the BAM FM Code of Conduct.
13. Monitor and record staff holidays in accordance with BAM policies and procedures.
14. Operate as part of the wider One BAM ethos and build good relationships with clients.
15. Report any shortfalls or concerns to the Facilities Manager.

Who are we looking for?

1. Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning environment and confidence in managing a team.
2. Knowledge of COSHH and H&S would be an advantage.
3. Ability to motivate and manage staff performance and ensure standards are maintained.
