JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: 1st floor, Zone digital, Cognizant, Jacob Street, Tower Hill BS2 0EQ

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday - 5pm to 7pm - 2 hours per shift

PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative at ABM UK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of various locations across the UK. From shopping centers to commercial locations and airports, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment for employees and customers alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, restrooms, and other communal areas
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
• Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures provided by ABM UK
• Respond to any cleaning-related requests or emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or janitorial role would be advantageous
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required
