Cleaning Operative
Location – Castlereagh (Marshalls Road) and Mallusk, Belfast, BT5 6SL
Salary – £12.55 per hour
Hours – 20 hours per week
Shifts – Monday to Friday, 4 hours each morning (Flexible between 07:00 – 13:00)

As a Cleaning Operative at Sodexo covering Castlereagh and Mallusk, you’ll be a vital part of a hardworking and dedicated team, keeping workplaces clean, safe, and ready for the day ahead. Whether it’s dusting, sweeping, or sanitising touchpoints, your attention to detail helps create a welcoming environment for all.

You’ll be working across two nearby sites, so travel between them is essential – but we’ll support you with planning and flexibility.

What you’ll do:

1. Carry out daily cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitising
2. Maintain cleaning standards across both Castlereagh and Mallusk sites
3. Replenish consumables and manage cleaning supplies efficiently
4. Follow health and safety guidelines to keep yourself and others safe
5. Work independently while staying connected to the wider team

What you bring:

1. A positive attitude and pride in your work
2. Ability to work across multiple locations each day
3. Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential
4. Good time management and reliability
5. A strong understanding of hygiene and safety practices
