Term Time only, work 39, paid 45.05 weeks per year

NJC/LGA Scale 3 (Actual Salary SCP 7-8 £10,483 - £10,650 per annum)

Job Role

We are looking for cleaners to join an established team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at this large secondary school. The team works in areas across a large and varied site, managed by a team leader. The duties include a wide range of general school cleaning and restocking, and may include some occasional lifting.

This is a great chance to join a committed Facilities Team as part of this happy and successful school. Blatchington Mill School expects all staff to adhere to a rigorous approach to health and safety, and appropriate training is provided for all staff.

The core hours are 3.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.

Most roles are term time only, but there is the opportunity for holiday working as well.

The full-time salary for this role is £25,584 per annum; however, as this role is not full-time, the salary will be prorated accordingly (as above), and pay is the same each month of the year. The hourly rate for the post is currently £13.26.

There is the opportunity to join the local government pension scheme.
