Cleaner

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £24,309 pro rata, per annum (£12.60 per hour inclusive of Real Living Wage)

Hours: Part time - term time

  1. 1 x 15 hour position, 15:00 - 18:00 (43 weeks)
  2. N1 - £12.60 per hour inclusive of Real Living Wage

The Council are currently looking for reliable and friendly people with a positive attitude to join their Facility Services team as a Cleaner.

The Role

Working as a team and using your own initiative, daily duties will involve cleaning designated areas such as corridors, classrooms, offices and toilet areas using required equipment. Responsibilities include emptying bins, mopping and vacuuming floors, with regular stooping, bending and lifting required. Candidates will need to have a basic understanding of both written and spoken English due to the use of chemicals.

Skills and Qualifications

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
