What You’ll Be Doing
As our Cleaner, you play a vital role in ensuring our learning location is clean, tidy, and ready to inspire visitors. You'll help contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across our public areas, staff facilities, classrooms, and toilets.
You will be adaptable to the changing environment of our learning location and be happy to help where required, this may include undertaking other duties including assisting with general maintenance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the learning location.

Where you’ll be based
Field Studies Council Epping Forest is situated in the heart of Epping Forest, an area of around 2,400 hectares of wood-pasture stretching from Manor Park in East London to just north of Epping in Essex.
Two thirds of the Forest have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Our purpose built, fully accessible centre has six classrooms, and associated facilities, with direct access into our teaching sites which include woodland, grassland, heath, and river.

Ideally, you’ll have delivered high standards of customer service before, cleaning experience will be helpful, but it’s not essential. The expectations of every employee that we regard as important include:
