“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all,” Aristotle.
At St. Stephen’s C.E. Primary School, we are committed not only to educating children’s minds but, most importantly, to educating their hearts. A customised curriculum that meets both the academic and pastoral needs of all our pupils is fundamental to our school ethos and vision. The happy, secure, and nurturing environment enables our pupils to have age-appropriate confidence, which supports them in achieving their fullest potential. Everything we do is underpinned by our whole school Christian ethos, which aspires for all children to fulfil their God-given potential, to be the best that they can be, so that they can ‘let their light shine to the world’.
We are in search of a teacher with experience of Key Stage 2, who is an innovative and creative practitioner and has a passion for inspiring young minds. The candidate must have a nurturing, friendly, and approachable manner that embraces our Christian ethos. We are keen to appoint a Key Stage Two teacher who is committed, invested, and passionate about enabling our pupils to ‘let their light shine’.
Visits to school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the School Business Manager, Deborah Wilson, by email: ststephensce@durhamlearning.net or telephone: 01388 746426.
