Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to work within the Design department based in Barnsley. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,388 per annum.

About the Class 2 Driver role:

They are looking to directly employ a Class 2 Driver to work with their Transport department at Barnsley covering deliveries nationwide; nights out are required. Nights out are paid at £34 per night and all parking expenses reimbursed.

The role involves delivery of their rigid kitchen range nationwide in their modern fleet of delivery vehicles.

Monday to Friday work, no weekends or bank holidays.

The key responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver will include:

1. Delivering company products nationwide.
2. Preparing the products in the vehicle for offload.
3. Maintaining a high standard of work.
4. Maintaining legal requirements.

To meet the requirements of the Class 2 Driver, you will have:

1. A full driving licence with the required vocational entitlement.
2. A valid DCPC.
3. Good verbal communication skills.

As the Class 2 Driver, you will be:

1. Of smart appearance as the position is customer facing.
2. Prepared to spend nights away from home.
3. Able to lift average sized kitchen, bedroom and bathroom units.
4. Willing to train within the transport department.
