Class 1 Drivers

Ad hoc and long term temporary and Temp to Perm available.

£14.50- £17.00 per hour

Reliable and Flexible Class 1 Drivers needed within Northampton.

Nice, well planned and timed routes, no need to do any hand balling; all stock is moved by a counterbalance, making sure all paperwork is in order and signed, and ensuring communication with the Transport office to plan for any delays.

Looking for a mixture of support, fulfilling either Ad hoc days or Monday to Friday; there are shifts which would suit all.

General responsibilities:

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before moving on to your next drop/depot.

To be considered you must have:

• Class 1 licence, Current DQC card and Digital Taco card.
• At least 6 months experience on UK roads.
• No more than 6 points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Physically fit
• Great customer service

This role offers you:

• Between £14.50-£17.00 per hour
• Flexibility with Ad hoc shifts or full weeks
• Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment.
