Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our depot in Brighouse for our client, one of the largest UK’s supermarket chains, Morrisons.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on 12 hours night shifts between Sunday and Friday within the start time window of 15:00 – 18:00.

• Annual salary of £37,814.40 with additional £1.25 per hour for the hours worked between 22:00 – 06:00 and overtime rate of £17.68

What you will do on a typical day:

• Trunk goods to and from client destinations accurately and safely
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete all paperwork correctly and on time
• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Previous experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable
