Job description

Location: Snetterton
Shift times: Monday - Friday day shifts (start times vary depending on preference).
Pay: £14.00 Standard / £18.00 Overtime.
Length of assignment: Ongoing (potential temp to perm)

Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national food and drinks logistics distribution clients.

We have a wide range of opportunities with our client who offer a flexible approach, so we want to hear from you and understand what you are looking for, to put you on the best possible assignment.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  1. Carry out a maximum of two deliveries per day to the customer delivery points, following all relevant store and non-store delivery procedures as per company and customer policies.
  2. Maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping standards within the depot, vehicle, and trailer assigned for daily duties.
  3. Regularly inspect the vehicle for defects and wear and tear, and report any issues promptly to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
  4. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork within the given timeframe, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

What you need to succeed with our client:

  1. A full UK driving licence with C+E category - must have 2 years' experience.
  2. Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
  3. An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
  4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.
  5. Must be able to pass an on-site assessment prior to assignment commencement.
