Here at HireGiant, we are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.

This is for a national haulage company, a big player in the haulage and storage sector. As the driver, you will need to complete deliveries of goods to clients across the UK. There is a strong possibility for the Class 1 Driver to be placed on long-term hire should they perform well without any incidents, lateness, or repeated infringements.

The Role:

The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday, with weekend work available for those who want it. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 1 or 2 deliveries, followed by a collection of goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. HGV Class 1 experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with HGV1 Driver experience. You must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.

Requirements for this role:

1. Cat C+E entitlement on their licence
2. Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
3. Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (Weekend work if wanted)

Start time between 08:00am & 11:00am (can accommodate earlier and later starts if prior agreed)

Shifts will be between 10-12 hours.

The hourly rate for this role is:

£15.28 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start.
