Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a

Igloo is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers and Trainee Car Transporter Drivers for our client based in Thurleigh.

We are looking for motivated individuals to train as 11+ car transporter drivers, as well as experienced professionals ready to join the team. This role requires a driver who is committed to providing excellent customer service, as you will represent the company directly to their clients. About the Role

1. Driving an HGV car transporter carrying 11+ new or used vehicles.
2. Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter.
3. Conducting thorough vehicle checks before loading to ensure they are in good condition.
4. Engaging directly with dealerships and clients.
5. Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses in the region.
6. Nights out as required.

What We’re Looking For

1. A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
2. At least 6 months of driving experience in the last 2 years.
3. An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
4. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (minor offences only).
5. Confidence driving vehicles onto trailers at height.
6. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high standards.
7. A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
