Job description

Job Title: Claims Manager

Location: Aylesbury

Contract Details: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading organisation in the property claims sector, renowned for delivering integrated, seamless services that enhance the customer journey. With a strong trading history, they have built a reputation for innovative and highly efficient solutions that save time and money for insurers. Their commitment to customer satisfaction ensures high retention rates and exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of claims technicians, ensuring optimal performance
  2. Implement strategies to reduce financial leakage on claims
  3. Understand and prioritise workload based on Work In Progress (WIP) demands
  4. Ensure that customer needs and requirements are met effectively
  5. Manage capacity planning and workflow within the Control Centre
  6. Regularly review and enhance current working practises for best outcomes
  7. Lead change initiatives in line with organisational objectives
  8. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  9. Deliver training and coaching to enhance team capabilities
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  11. Address low-level complaints and support the resolution of customer issues
Essential:
  1. Proven performance management experience
  2. Solid operational experience within the insurance sector
  3. Strong relationship-building skills
  4. CII Certificate in Insurance qualification
  5. Excellent communication skills with a positive, proactive approach
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  7. Experience in a leadership role within claims management
