Claims Handler - Motor & Property

Salary up to £35,000

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Hybrid working available)

Bristol, full time/permanent

MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading client based in the Bristol area. We're seeking to recruit a motivated, professional and dedicated Claims Handler to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to your clients concerning any claims issues.

Your primary tasks include:

  1. Advise and update your clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim. Ensure complete customer happiness by regularly assessing the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
  2. Offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of the claim, encouraging and effectively handling your client's expectations.
  3. Have open conversations with your Line Manager about any issues, queries or areas of concern which may arise.
  4. Build and maintain your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge while efficiently running claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
  5. Balance your workload to service the client promptly and expertly, demonstrating superb administrative skills.
  6. Update insurers and recovery agents, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
  7. Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs.
