Claims Handler- International Property

Join our client’s international property team as a Claims Handlerand play a critical role in managing a significant portfolio of large commercial property claims.

The Role:
In this position, you’ll bring your extensive expertise in handling high-value and complex claims to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. With a $500k claims authority (unlimited handler authority), you’ll manage a large commercial property claims portfolio, including high-profile US and multinational claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high-value commercial property claims, including those exceeding £1m, with exceptional technical capability and strategic oversight.
• Handle international and London Market Multinational claims with precision and professionalism.
• Navigate fraud detection, FOS outcomes, and relevant legislation to provide strategic direction for your business unit.
• Collaborate with the Delegated Team to oversee a portfolio of complex claims, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
• Participate in depositions and other legal processes as needed.
• Extensive experience managing high-value and complex commercial property claims in the North American and multinational markets.
• A deep understanding of the London Market and international claims processes.
• Knowledge of fraud detection, FOS outcomes, and applicable legislation.
• Exceptional claims handling skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions.
• Preferred qualifications: ACII, Cert CILA, RICS, COB.
• Depositions experience is highly desirable.
