Job description

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join their team. This role primarily involves managing motor claims from start to finish, ensuring the best possible outcomes for customers. Responsibilities include investigating incidents, liaising with brokers, suppliers, and third-party insurers, and using sound judgement to progress claims efficiently.

Job Duties:

  • Manage motor insurance claims from initiation to settlement.
  • Investigate claim circumstances and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, repairers, motor engineers, and third-party insurers.
  • Ensure claims are handled efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims.
  • Apply analytical skills and attention to detail to assess claim validity and potential outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 4-9 / C or above), including Maths and English.
  • Cert CII qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a confident and professional approach.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyse information effectively.
  • A positive, inquisitive, and proactive mindset.
