Claims Executive - Commercial Insurance
£45,000 | Southampton (Hybrid) | Permanent

We're working with a leading insurance company looking for an experienced Claims Executive to join their team in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys managing complex commercial claims from start to finish.

The Role:

1. Handle a wide range of commercial insurance claims, including larger and more complex cases.
2. Work closely with clients, insurers, and third parties to achieve the best possible outcomes.
3. Provide mentoring to junior colleagues and help drive continuous improvement across the claims function.
4. Identify trends, analyse claims data, and support clients with risk mitigation strategies.
5. Attend site visits and produce clear, well-presented reports.

What We're Looking For:

1. Strong commercial insurance and claims knowledge (brokerage experience essential).
2. Excellent client relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
3. Confident working independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
4. Compassionate and professional when supporting clients during challenging situations.
5. GCSEs in English & Maths (A-levels/CII/CILA desirable).
