A rapidly growing Lloyd’s broker seeks a Claims Advocate within their Financial Lines claims team. You will oversee and manage the provision of claims advocacy and service in respect of International Profin clients and Retail broker partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide expert claims advocacy in relation to large, complex and/or contentious PI/FI/D&O claims, maintaining and leveraging market relationships as necessary, in order to bring claims to prompt, satisfactory conclusions.
Develop, shape and articulate the Profin claims value proposition to clients, Retail broker partners, colleagues and carriers, including the development and provision of management information and data to support the same.
Be actively involved in new business opportunities, including preparation of tenders and participating in new business pitches.
For major Clients, lead the claims relationship, including regular meetings, delivery of claims reports, etc.
Manage the relationship between the UK Claims team, Profin and Retail broker partners, acting as the key point of contact in sharing information and agreeing strategy.
Applicants should have experience of managing complex and/or high value Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions and/or D&O claims. The successful applicant will have a good network of insurer relationships in these classes. Experience of handling U.S. claims, litigation and related issues would be beneficial. Professional qualifications (e.g. ACII, FCII, Solicitor) are also desirable.
