Direct Commercial are an award-winning commercial motor insurer entering an exciting period of growth. We are looking for a Claims Administration Assistant based in or around Chelmsford to join our existing Claims team.

Individual Conduct Rules

Duties:

  • Providing support to our claims team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
  • Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Claims department.
  • Develop and maintain our filing system.
  • Recording and updating databases.
  • Projects such as gathering information by phone, letter or email.
  • Photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Manage post and emails.
  • Work closely with colleagues within the company to deliver consistently high levels of service.
  • Support and adhere to the company’s values and policies in a professional manner.

Skills:

  • Computer literate (Experience with Microsoft Excel required).
  • Excellent organisation.
  • Good verbal and written communication along with an excellent telephone manner.

Required Experience:

  • 1 year experience in an office environment.
  • Maths and English Grades C (5) and above.
