Civils Project Engineer (OLE)

Our client is looking for a project engineer to work on a contract basis in South Wales. As the PE you will have a strong background in rail projects with a good understanding of the civils aspect on OLE structures.

Our client, a leader in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Civils Project Engineer (OLE) to join their team for a contract position. This role is critical to the successful delivery of electrification and civils projects within the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the OLE team on the civils side of the project
• Carry out engineering assurance checks on designs and as-built information
• Ensure all works are carried out to Network Rail Standards and construction and design tolerances
• Liaise with the construction team in planning works
• Ensure all safety-critical paperwork is correct, such as site permits, Task Briefs, ITP's, WPP's, etc.
• Deliver work to programme, budget, and specification

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a Civils and OLE Project Engineer
• Understanding of project engineering
• Experience in rail electrification and civils projects
• Must hold PTS/Sentinel competencies
• Must hold OLEC certification
• Contract position with an initial 6-month term
