Job Title: Civils Groundworks Estimator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Civils Groundworks Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating for civil engineering and groundworks projects, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
2. Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
3. Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
4. Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Analyse material, labour, and equipment costs to prepare competitive tenders.
7. Assist in post-tender negotiations and contract reviews.
8. Keep up to date with market trends, pricing, and industry regulations.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering or groundworks sector.
2. Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, earthworks, and other civil works.
3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
4. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and within a team.
