The Company

A Yorkshire Civil Engineering company is looking for a Quality Site Manager to work on a new contract in Pocklington.

The Project

As an experienced Civil Site Manager, you will manage the civils and structural steel packages for a development in Pocklington.

Requirements

  1. First Aid
  2. CSCS Card
  3. Driving Licence
  4. SMSTS

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

  1. Experience as a Site Manager working on Civils projects (5 years +)
  2. Experience managing structural steel works is a bonus

The Role

Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Pocklington

Duration: 6 Months

Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

  1. Responsible for quality of works on site
  2. Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
  3. Attending and Participating in Project meetings
  4. Completing briefings and toolbox talks
  5. Producing RAMS and brief the workforce to ensure understanding
  6. Managing the workforce in the delivery of complex civil works
  7. Read and understand drawings and take accurate material take offs
  8. Ensure work is being completed on time and within budget
  9. Complete Construction phase plans, Environmental plans, ITPs and Quality plans
  10. Liaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
  11. Administration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
  12. Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage
