The Role

MCS Group are delighted to again working with our client, a leading international infrastructure contractor as they seek to expand their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a person wishing to continue their career in the Civil Engineering industry. As Project Supervisor, the successful candidate will be part of a high performing team who are responsible for the delivery of a £100m capital project scheme. You will be supporting the planning and execution of the overall project delivery.

Main Duties

• Delivering supervision of reconfiguration and extension projects, alongside ongoing maintenance and assessments of Civil infrastructure.
• Support the Project Manager and Senior Management with the logistical, technical and commercial management of the project(s) to meet the overall business objectives.
• Be responsible as the day-to-day point of contact for contractor(s) and facilitate communication between various departments, business partners, consultants, and contractors.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a culture of excellent health, safety, and environmental standards across the project delivery team and business.
• Ensure associated contractors deliver the highest levels of health, safety, and environmental performance achievable.
• Positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with the project.
• Play an active part in lessons identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to work flexible hours to facilitate any out of hours activity as and when required.
