Civil Litigation Lawyer

Rate: £55 - £60 per hour umbrella (Locum/Interim)

Location: East Midlands

Working: Hybrid

About the Civil Litigation Lawyer Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Civil Litigation Lawyers to join an established local authority in the East Midlands on a locum basis for 3 months+ and on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Civil Litigation Lawyer role:

As a litigation lawyer in the litigation section, you will provide clear, comprehensive professional legal advice to all clients and be comfortable negotiating with other professionals. Lawyers manage a portfolio of their own cases, advising on complex matters including, but not limited to:

  • Debt Recovery (inc C/Tax, Non-payment of commercial rent etc)
  • Judicial Review
  • Commercial Property disputes
  • Housing disrepair

We are looking for full-time and flexible working candidates, with the organisation currently working in a hybrid manner and offering flexi time.

You will need to be a qualified Solicitor, barrister or FCILEx to apply. Local Government experience is essential.
