Sellick Partnership is pleased to be recruiting for a locum Civil Litigation and Debt Recovery Lawyer on behalf of a well-established London Local Authority.

The council is offering an initial 3 month contract but has said this is likely to be extended on a rolling basis pending permanent recruitment. This role is full-time, and the successful candidate will ideally be able to attend the office once per week.

This role will be the perfect opportunity for someone who wants a variety of work and will offer a complex caseload of civil litigation matters. The position also provides the opportunity to conduct advocacy in court.

The successful Civil Litigation Lawyer role will manage a varied caseload, so experience of dealing with the following areas will be beneficial:

• Adult social care debt
• Parking disputes
• High value assets management
• Dispute resolution
• Injunctions
• ASB
• Squatters, trespass

The successful candidate is required to be a fully qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx) and ideally from a Local Government background.
