Civil Infrastructure Technician

Are you a Civil Infrastructure Technician or Civil 3D Technician with leadership experience? Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Technician to join their team in London. As part of the broader infrastructure business unit, you'll contribute to a wide variety of exciting projects both in the UK and internationally. This is a 6-month rolling contract, operating inside IR35, with hybrid working - you'll be required in the London office 1-2 days per week.

Key duties:

1. Managing Common Data Environments e.g., BIM360, SharePoint, Aconex.
2. Compiling BIM Execution Plans.
3. Support the civil infrastructure design and masterplanning, from concept stage through to construction through the use of GIS tools. Work typically includes drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks and other utility co-ordination.

Your skills and experience:

1. A technical background in infrastructure design, demonstrating technical design expertise in highways, utilities and earthworks.
2. Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
3. Demonstrable working knowledge of BIM processes and standards such as PAS1192-2.
4. IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD.
