Job description

Role: Civil Engineer

Location: Newcastle

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience

Our client is a regional multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. They have grown organically through continued delivery of high technical standard solutions to meet a wide range of client requirements and are looking for an ambitious and talented Civil Engineer to assist with this successful approach to engineering consultancy.

Role & Responsibilities:

Due to an increasing workload, there is the opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join the team. You will be involved with working on new build and refurbishment schemes from feasibility through detailed design and construction, across public, private, residential, heritage and environmental sectors.

You will be responsible for working within the design team in the production of calculations, technical reports and drawings, liaising with clients, statutory authorities and other consultants throughout the project design and construction process.

Key Requirements:

  1. Appropriate qualifications in Civil Engineering
  2. A good understanding of engineering principles
  3. Familiar with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage & Microsoft Office
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Be a motivated and enthusiastic member of the team with the drive to learn new skills and knowledge
  6. Be flexible, adaptive and responsive to change
