Job description

Civil Engineer - Fully Remote

Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team.

The consultancy specialises in civil engineering design, including infrastructure, highways design and detailed drainage design. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and a good technical background with anything from 2 years of experience.

Requirements of the role:
  1. Ability to use UK-recognised civil engineering software packages, such as InfoDrainage, PDS and AutoCAD is desirable.
  2. Experience with design codes/standards such as DMRB, Manual for Streets, and DCG.
  3. Working with clients and regulatory/statutory authorities to deliver detailed designs for technical approval and legal agreements, i.e. Section 38, 278 and 104, is beneficial.
  4. To work independently and as part of a team and can communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with colleagues and clients alike.
  5. Write clear, concise and technically accurate technical reports.
