About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to a high-profile LNG FEED project. This role involves delivering key civil engineering designs, ensuring compliance with international standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Civil Engineer in preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables.
Develop and review design basis documents, material specifications, and construction specifications.
Conduct engineering studies and produce recommendation reports.
Ensure compliance with American and Euro norm design codes and standards.
Coordinate and review analysis and calculations for:
Structures: Buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, and earth-retaining structures.
Foundations: Shallow and piled as required.
Civil Infrastructure: Site preparation, earthworks, and roads.
Prepare material take-offs for project planning and execution.
Collaborate with clients, third-party contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project coordination.
Work with global project teams to deliver tasks on time and within budget.
Key Requirements:
12+ years of experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consultant engineering or end-user company.
Extensive experience in FEED, design, and construction for LNG or oil & gas projects.
Strong ability to conduct engineering studies and develop technical reports.
Familiarity with international civil engineering standards and codes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
Previous experience working on major energy projects is highly desirable.
