CHP Service Technician

Role:

As a CHP Service Technician, you will be expected to travel extensively across England to visit sites where our equipment is installed. You will be expected to competently service, fault diagnose, and repair Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems. This is a customer-facing role, and you must be able to communicate across a number of levels and offer customer advice and training when required.

Initially, the post is Full Time Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5pm; however, you will be expected to modify your hours to suit the current works.

Skills / Training / Qualifications

Essential:

1. Experience of working with commercial diesel and gas engines, experience of servicing and carrying out whole life maintenance programs.
2. Solid experience with PCs and Microsoft Office products.
3. Experience using exhaust analysers, NOx, CO, CO2, O2 measurements.

1. Gas Safe qualifications - COCN1 with CGFE.
2. 18th Edition - Wiring qualifications.
3. NIC EIC Inspection and Test.
4. Clik Service system experience.
5. Wooward Easygen control system experience.
6. CoMap Control system experience.
7. MAN Engine training.

1. Salary range £40-50k (depending on experience & qualifications).

5. 20 days holiday (excluding public holidays).
6. Typically, an additional 5 days holiday during the Christmas period.
