Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children & Young People Support Worker (known internally as a Programme Facilitator-Children & Young People) to support our established and growing digital Children & Young People service WeMatter.

This is a home-based role, working 37.5 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until the end of December 2025.

About the role:

This role is home-based (within England or Wales).

As a Children & Young People Programme Facilitator you will:

  • Hold an active caseload of children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse within the home
  • Be responsible for providing safe, high-quality and consistent support through the online delivery of the CYP Recovery Toolkit
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships and promote effective communication between staff and other stakeholders.

You will need:

  • Knowledge of domestic abuse & its impact on children and young people
  • The ability to engage, build rapport and motivate young people
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound IT expertise with the ability to use a range of software
