Job description

£12.50 - £13 per hour + Sick Pay, Holiday Pay, Pension.

This private organisation offers a supportive and flexible environment in a Children Residential 24 hour Setting that values staff, promotes improvement and gives you a real opportunity to influence and achieve changing vulnerable young people's lives from all backgrounds and circumstances.

Their focus is to create brighter futures for vulnerable children and young people aged 11 to 16 years by providing safe supported accommodation, rehabilitation services, and assistance with employment, community integration, and sustainable independent living.

LOCATION: Dunstable Luton

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  1. Experience in Positive Behaviour Training.
  2. Experience in supporting Young People of Mixed Sex.
  3. Experience managing Emotional Behaviour Disorder.
  4. Experience in dealing with low to high Mental Health Needs.

Offering support plans to meet their changing needs in their everyday life. Encourage the young people to make independent choices and take them out of their comfort zone so they can learn new things and become active members of the community. A background in Children Residential Homes, YOT, County Lines, Mental Health & Autism is welcomed.

To register with BS Social Care, you will need a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with Children and be able to supply 3 years referencing. Minimum Qualification Required is an NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.

ON OFFER FOR THE ROLE

  1. Must be Flexible - Mon - Sun shifts 07.30 - 20.00, 20.00 - 07.30 Waking Night, 19.30 - 23.00 + Sleep in until 07.30.
  2. Pension.
  3. Competitive hourly rates £13.00.
