Children Social Worker - Children with Disabilities
Location: West Midlands

RATE: up to £33.30 per hour, based on experience (umbrella)
TYPE: LOCUM Social Worker - Children with Disabilities
TEAM: Children Team
HOURS: Full time role (36 hours per week)
HYBRID: Yes

You will work under the direction and support of the Assistant Team Manager for the Children With Disabilities Team, coordinating and providing a service to children who are subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, pre-proceedings, or court proceedings. Most of the children you will work with will have additional needs. You will work in an established team with an experienced permanent manager and receive consistent monthly supervision.
You will be expected to be in the office for up to 2 days per week and supported to work from home. You will be provided with a laptop and phone to do so. Duty on a rota basis: 1 day every other week and office-based duty day. Having a driving licence and a car is imperative.

Social Worker Requirements

1. Proven experience in working with children's services
2. Current enhanced DBS Disclosure
3. Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
4. Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
