This is for a coaching position with Tots United Bishopton, Johnstone & Linwood, a licensed franchise.

We have opportunities available for energetic, enthusiastic and talented coaches for FUN & ENGAGING football classes for children. This role is based in Johnstone.

Note: this position is for a suitably qualified and experienced Lead Coach. A minimum level of coaching qualifications are required for this role. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to lead classes for kids with confidence and have a fun, friendly and personable personality that includes high levels of energy and enthusiasm as well as coaching talent. Children's Football Coach

Do you love football? Are you passionate about helping and supporting toddlers and young children with their learning and development in sport?

If the answer is yes, then becoming a Tots United coach could be for you!

We're looking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and energetic Lead Coach to help deliver our fantastic football classes in the West of Scotland. We need someone who is upbeat, bubbly and has bags of energy to deliver our outstanding football classes.

Our immediate requirement is for a Lead Coach available to deliver our weekend classes in the West of Scotland area (particularly Renfrewshire).

However, we also have opportunities available for Assistant Coaches and Support Coaches too if you aren't quite at the level of a Lead Coach yet - by working with us we can help you get to that level if you've got the drive and ambition coupled with a great work ethic.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Leading in the delivery of our fun and engaging football classes for toddlers and young children (ages 18 months up to 8 years) in the West of Scotland.
  2. Devising suitable lesson plans under the supervision of our Director of Coaching, and delivering the Tots United curriculum in line with our values of CARE and LOVE.
  3. Co-ordinating the delivery of our classes and taking responsibility for equipment and leading sessions.
  4. Supervising junior colleagues and assisting them with their coaching development.
  5. Supporting the learning and development of children within football and sport in general.
  6. Communicating player pathways to parents (where relevant).
  7. Awareness of child safeguarding and risk assessments.
  8. Going the extra mile where required and being an outstanding role model.

Experience and Qualifications

For our Lead Coach role, you must have the following:

  1. Relevant existing coaching qualifications and experience of coaching and working with young children. Please state what coaching qualifications you have in your application.
  2. Driving licence.
  3. PVG membership.
